Massive Thanksgiving pile-up on 1-10 kills two and injures dozens

A massive pile-up in southeast Texas left two people dead and more than 80 people injured on Thursday morning. The accident occurred at 8:45 a.m. on Interstate 10 outside of Beaumont, Texas (80 miles east of Houston).  The chain-reaction accident sent dozens of injured individuals to local hospitals, and Texas DPS officials say that at least 10-12 of them were in serious or critical condition.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of those who tragically lost their lives in the accident, and we are concerned for the well-being of all those who were injured. At Williams Kherkher, we know how difficult dealing with a serious collision can be, physically, emotionally, and financially. In the aftermath of a serious pile-up collision, the costs of medical treatment and property repair and replacement can be overwhelming for those involved, and insurance agencies may unfortunately seek to limit their financial liability to the detriment of their policyholders.

Individuals who have been hurt in a serious collision like the massive pile-up on I-10 should be aware of their legal options following such a tragic event. While insurance agencies have extensive resources to deny and fight injury and damage claims, individuals also have the right to retain experienced legal counsel like the attorneys at Williams Kherkher to help them obtain the compensation they may be owed according to their insurance policies.

We have extensive experience fighting large corporations, including tobacco companies, large pharmaceutical manufacturers, and big insurance companies. If you are struggling to obtain the fair and just compensation you are owed from your insurance company following a tragic accident, it is important to discuss your claim with a law firm that has the resources and experience to fight for you. We understand that your focus is on your family and your personal recovery, so let us fight for you during this trying time.
